COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019)
May 14, 2020- The Chippewa Falls Public Library will be following the guidance of local officials when considering any changes to our current service level. We will continue to provide curbside and virtual services at this time.
When the library reopens, late fees will be waived for a week.
Please check back to the library website (https://chippewafallslibrary.org/) and social media for updates and electronic resources you can utilize during the closure.
Like many of you, library staff has been monitoring the news about the coronavirus (COVID19). We want to keep our staff, patrons, and community healthy and safe. The library is following guidance from the Chippewa County Department of Public Health and CDC concerning how to respond to the virus and what preventative measures we should implement.
The library will be closed until further notice. The library offers several digital collections such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and streaming film if you don’t want to visit. Check our website and catalog for those resources: https://www.chippewafallslibrary.org/

Chippewa Falls Public Library will have special hours at this time.
Hours for in-person services: appointment required
- Monday through Wednesday, 2-6pm
- (Wednesday 9am-10am for those with compromised immune systems)
- Thursday and Friday, 10am-2pm
- Saturday, 10am-1pm
- Monday through Wednesday, 10am to 2pm*
- Thursday, 2pm-6pm*
